The Check In.

A fun, creative and unique space that is created each School Term to gather the family and reflect on what was while planning for the term ahead.

It is a space of play, shared stories, games and hopes. With each member of the family having an opportunity to have their voice heard, the Check In allows time for discussion and shared family goal setting.

The Check In is suitable for all families and young people of all ages.

The Check In takes place in the comfort of your own home, loungeroom, back yard or local park.

Term by Term Planning

Families with school age children often divide their year up according to school terms. By gathering each school term, the family allows time to plan, celebrate and work together on making the next term a great one for every member of the family.

Play

People learn best by playing. The Check In involves creative ways to connect with each other that build emotional and social awareness.

3

Social Brains

Brains develop better in the presence of other brains. By providing a space for children and parents to connect, learn and play, young people can make more meaning out of their lives through the important relationships around them.

4

Family culture

The Check In helps to develop a family culture that all members have input in developing. Family culture can be how you relate to each other, family rituals you celebrate and how problems are navigated. Important skills for any young person to develop.
